MISSING: Have You Seen 15-Year-Old Shawn Davenport From East NY?

The teenager was last seen on the early morning of Saturday, cops said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A 15-year-old boy has been missing from the East New York area of Brooklyn for more than 48 hours, cops said. Shawn Davenport was last seen at his home at 120 Highland Place on Saturday, Jan. 28 at around 2:30 a.m., the NYPD said. He is described as a black boy, 5-feet-7-inches and 200 pounds with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes, according to police.

Davenport was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black jeans and black sneakers, police said. He is also known to frequent subway and train stations, according to the NYPD.

Police are asking anyone with information about Davenport's location to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
