Motorcyclist Dies After Highland Park Crash: Cops
Benjamin Council was driving toward his home when he missed a curve, flew of his bike and hit his head on a street light pole, cops said.
CYPRESS HILLS, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn biker died after he slammed into a concrete barrier inside Highland Park and thrown from his motorcycle late Tuesday night, police said.
Benjamin Council, 38, was driving along Highland Boulevard at Vermont Street just before 11:50 p.m. when he missed the curve and smashed his 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle, said police.
Council went flying, hit his head on a street light pole and crumpled on the ground, police said.

Emergency responders rushed Council to Brookdale Hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life, said police.
Council had been driving eastbound, in the direction of his Etna Street home.
