New 4-Story Building To Rise In Brownsville, Records Show

A new four-story building is about to go up in Brownsville.

BROWNSVILLE, NY — A new building is set to go up in Brownsville, city records show.

The four-story building at 388 Christopher Ave., between Livonia and Riverdale avenues, will stand 42 feet tall, according to Department of Buildings records.

There will be 10 rental units in the building, constructed by Chaim Sobel of Mazel IGRR, and 7,724 square feet of total space, with 6,914 feet dedicated to residential space, city records show.

Tecnigo Engineering's Jay Patel will serve as the architect for the project for which a completion date has not yet been listed. The building will be two blocks away from the Junius St. 3 Train station. There will be no parking provided in the building, records show.
