EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Brooklynites heading to the East New York Farmers Market this weekend should remember to put kittens on their shopping list.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will host a pet adoption day at the farmers market on Schenck and New Lots avenues this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., organizers announced.
All of Brooklyn's cat lovers are invited for a meet-and-greet with the kittens, which will be up for adoption at prices ranging from $75 to $125.

The small cats have already been spayed/neutered, microchipped and have received age-appropriate vaccines, the ASPCA.
The event comes in the midst of "kitten season," when the ASPCA receives hundreds of stray baby cats born during this prime time for felines to breed, organizers said.
