Raccoons Taking Over Canarsie Subway Station, Pol Says
Raccoons have claimed the Canarsie L train station at 105th Street, according to riders.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Raccoons are taking over this Canarsie L train station, according to politicians, riders and reports.
“Raccoon sighted,” state Sen. Roxanne Persaud tweeted, along with a photo of a masked bandit at the East 105th Street station. "Raccoons seem to like using this subway station."
Persaud first alerted the MTA in June, but felt compelled to raise the issue again at a transportation budget meeting Tuesday, according to the New York Post.
