The eight-story building will also house 47 low-income units, a laundry room, fitness center, a rooftop terrace and 3,080 square-feet of commercial retail space, according to New York Yimby.
Rents are expected to cost $462 a month for a studio, $590 a month for a one-bedroom, $718 a month for a two-bedroom, and $821 a month for a three-bedroom.

Edwin's Place is the result of a collaboration between Breaking Ground, a nonprofit that promotes supportive housing, and the African American Planning Commission, Inc.
The proposal must be voted on by City Council before Edwin's Place can be built, but with support from the City Planning Commission, Brooklyn Community Board 16, and Borough President Eric Adams, the chances of approval are more than good.
