
BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — The Gregory Jackson Center for Brownsville will host a youth employment event in conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor for 16- to 24-year-olds on Monday, Nov. 14 and Tuesday, Nov. 15.
The events are a part of the center's Urban Youth Jobs/New York Youth Jobs Program, which aims to foster employment opportunities and training for unemployed, disadvantaged youth in select areas of the state.
There will be resume workshops on Monday at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume. They'll also have access to professional clothing for job interviews during Monday's events.
Then, on Tuesday, there will be a career fair from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. For this event, participants should bring several copies of their resume.

Both events will be held at the Gregory Jackson Center of Brownsville, which is located at 519 Rockaway Ave., off Sutter Avenue.
