Woman Fatally Stabbed In Face Inside Brooklyn Subway, Police Say

A 30-year-old woman was attacked inside the Sutter Avenue 3 train station Monday night, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A woman was fatally stabbed in the face inside a Brownsville subway station Monday evening, police said.

The 30-year-old woman was attacked inside the Sutter Avenue 3 train station mezzanine on Rutland Road and East 98th Street just before 9:20 p.m., said police.

Emergency responders — who found the woman covered with stab wounds on her face, neck and arm — rushed her to Brookdale Hospital but doctors were unable to save her life, police said.

The woman's name had not been released and no arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
