33 Allstate agency owners earn $33,000 grant for Make-A-Wish Western New York

The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to fulfill wishes to children with a life-threatening medical condition

BUFFALO, New York – Thirty-three Allstate agency owners from Buffalo recently came together to secure a $33,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit Make-A-Wish Western New York. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to give children with a life-threatening medical condition hope, strength and joy by granting them a wish experience.

The agency owners each earned $1,000 for Make-A-Wish Western New York by hosting and participating in the Allstate Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament held at Harvest Hill Golf Course in Buffalo. Make-A-Wish Western New York will use the $33,000 grant to further its work in the community.

“As small business owners and community leaders, Allstate agency owners and financial specialists see firsthand the opportunities and challenges facing the communities they serve,” said Clarence Allstate Agency Owner Frank Giumpa, who served as the project leader. “Giving back is core to who we are, which is why we’re proud to volunteer and raise funds to provide children with life-threatening medical conditions experiences that inspire hope.”
