JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Now Serving Buffalo South

Local Entrepreneur Hopes to Employ Fellow Veterans, Veteran Families with New Business

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, a national franchise organization dedicated to providing business ownership opportunities to veterans and relatives of veterans, is now serving the Buffalo South community. JDog provides junk removal and hauling services to both residential and commercial customers, delivering service the military way: with respect, integrity and trust.

The new JDog will service the greater Buffalo South area, and is owned by U.S. Air Force veteran, Scott Seiberg. Seiberg spent four years on active duty serving as a medic during Operation Southern Watch in the Persian Gulf. After returning to civilian life, he used his G.I. Bill to study respiratory therapy, and earned his master’s in healthcare administration leading him to work as a Pediatric Manager. Interested in to following his entrepreneurial spirit, Seiberg found the perfect opportunity to be in business for himself while keeping true to his military values with JDog Junk Removal.

“I was drawn to the JDog business model because it aligns with the values I’ve experienced in the Air Force,” said Seiberg. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to provide the supportive community of Buffalo South with a valuable service built off of military values, while providing meaningful employment to local veterans.”

Seiberg hopes to provide local veterans with jobs in the coming years as his business expands in the area. A grand opening event complete with a silent auction and 50/50 raffle benefitting Amvets is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. located at Amvets Hall at 3071 Abbott Rd in Orchard Park.

JDog awards franchises exclusively to military veterans and their family members. Franchise owners operate easily recognizable, camouflage vehicles and trailers and wear military-style uniforms. JDog recycles and repurposes a substantial amount of the material they pick up. The Philadelphia-based company works closely with local and national organizations, as well as local schools, churches and hospitals to donate useful items to those in need.

“JDog credits its success to the idea that when given the choice, people will hire a veteran,” said Jerry Flanagan, founder of JDog. “JDog teams serve and support their local communities under the ethics of respect, integrity and trust – a true reflection of military morals.”
