Juanita Perez Williams Receives Fourth Endorsement of 2017 Election
The Latino Professional Network of Syracuse endorsed Perez Williams' campaign marking the fourth major endorsement of her candidacy.

In their first ever Mayoral endorsement, the Latino Professional Network of Syracuse (LPNS) has endorsed Juanita Perez Williams for Mayor. This is her fourth major endorsement of the 2017 election.
The decision to endorse pre-primary by the LPNS is both historic and significant; it shows that Perez-Williams can be a mayor for everyone as she continues to bring together diverse groups into her coalition. The Latino Professional Network of Syracuse said, “Juanita has been one of the most important leaders and advocates for the local Latino community for well over a decade. We believe that Juanita has the vision, intelligence, strength, and virtue to build a better Syracuse for Latino’s and all our brothers and sisters in the City of Syracuse. We Need Juanita!”
Perez Williams belongs to the Latino Professional Network of Syracuse and is the only Latina running for Mayor. She has also worked closely with many organizations that are involved with the local Latino community in Syracuse, including serving on the Board of La Liga, being a founding member of Hispanic Syracuse, and volunteering to help organize Hispanic Heritage Month. Regarding the endorsement, Perez Williams said, “It is a true honor to be endorsed by LPN. I am a proud Latina and owe my success to Latino leaders who set a high example. As Mayor I will do the same for our growing Latino population in Syracuse.”
