Mayor Brown Announces 10 City Of Buffalo Splashpads Will Open On Memorial Day
With the weather making a turn for the better on Memorial Day, the popular splash pads will be open from 11 a.m to 7p.m.

Buffalo, NY – Mayor Byron W. Brown announced today that 10 of the City’s splash pads will make their 2021 debut on Memorial Day. In 2020, only the City’s three largest splash pads were open due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements.

“I’m excited to announce 10 of our 11 splash pads will open on Memorial Day. We know there’s a lot of pent up demand for outdoor water activities, so we’re excited to be able to open our popular splash pads as we move out of pandemic restrictions.” Mayor Brown said.
With the weather making a turn for the better on Memorial Day, the popular splash pads will be open from 11 a.m to 7p.m. every day through Labor Day, weather permitting.

Here is a list of City of Buffalo Splash pads opening May 31:
Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park - foot of Porter Ave. Allison Park - Reese St., adjacent to Asarese Matters Center
Masten Park - Best St., adjacent to Johnnie B. Wiley Sports Pavilion MLK Jr. Park Basin - Best St. and Fillmore Ave.
Lanigan Park - South Park Ave., west of Louisiana St. Lincoln Park - foot of Quincy St.
Cazenovia Park - behind the park casino Houghton Park - foot of Spahn St.
Schiller Park - Sprenger St. side of park Roosevelt Park - foot of Roosevelt Ave
The Kensington Park splash pad is closed while the pool is under reconstruction.
Splashpad users are asked to follow all posted COVID-safety guidelines. General splash pad rules can be found here.
