66-Year-Old Man Suffers Broken Rib in Bushwick Subway Mugging: NYPD
The 66-year-old victim was mugged on the M train inside the Myrtle/Wyckoff Avenue subway station Sunday night in Brooklyn, NYPD said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A 66-year-old man was attacked and robbed by an unidentified male suspect (pictured above) while onboard a train inside of a Bushwick subway station late Sunday night, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said.
The victim was riding on a Manhattan bound M train at the Myrtle/Wyckoff Avenue subway station, Sunday Oct. 9, at around midnight, when the suspect "knocked him down to the floor then kicked and punched him before he removed his wallet and cell phone," NYPD said.
The suspect fled off the train at the Myrtle/Wyckoff Avenue station, police said.

A credit card and $20 in cash were among the items inside the victim's wallet, NYPD said.
The victim suffered cuts to his face and a broken rib, and was transported to a nearby hospital where he's in stable condition, police said.

The suspect is described as 20 to 25 years old, standing five-feet-eight-inches tall and weighing 175 pounds; he last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, blue jeans and black and gray sneakers, NYPD said.
