Demolished Bushwick Church To Be Replaced By Apartments: Records
Apartments will be built where once stood a Bushwick church near Broadway Junction, Department of Buildings records show.
BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A seven-story building complex will be built on the former site of a demolished Bushwick Church, city records show.
The Benaiah Ministries building at 1884 Broadway near De Sales Place will be replaced by a 66-unit apartment building, according to Department of Building permits filed Tuesday.
The 1884 Broadway building, less three blocks from Broadway Junction, will stand 70 feet tall and include 33 below-ground parking spaces, records show.

The building will have more than 9,700 square feet of community facility space and about 8,000 square feet of commercial space, according to the application.
Permits were filed last November to knock down the existing building on the lot, which was used as a church, Benaiah Ministries.

Yisroel Greenfield is the developer for the building and Jeffrey Kamen is the architect for it, records show.
