$856 Bushwick Studios Up For Grabs On NYC Housing Lottery

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A handful of actually-affordable apartments in Bushwick hit the housing lottery this week.

Thirteen units will be up for grabs at 961 Willoughby Ave. until the NYC Housing Connect lottery closes on April 10, city records show.

The three studios, three one-bedrooms and seven two-bedrooms are available to residents who meet specific income requirements.

Studios go for $856 a month and are available to people earning between $29,349 and $40,080 a year.

One-bedrooms go for $985 a month and are available to people earning between $33,772 and $45,840 a year.

Two-bedroom go for $1,114 and are available to people earning between $38,195 and $57,240 a year.

Residents in the newly-constructed building will have access to a gym, laundry room, lounge, backyard, parking and rooftop terrace, records show.

The apartment is up the block from Little Skips and within walking distance of the Central and Myrtle avenue subway stops.
