9 Affordable Apartments Up For Grabs For Only 20 Days
Nine affordable apartments hit the housing lottery Tuesday, but the deadline to apply is less than three weeks away.
BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — There are only 20 days to snag one of nine affordable apartments in a new Bushwick building with a gym and rooftop deck, according to the Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Nine one-bedroom apartments are available in the seven-story building at 802 Flushing Ave., but only to applicants who earn 60 percent of the area median income and apply between Sept. 5 and Sept. 25, according to NYC Housing Connect.
The one-bedrooms are priced at $1,039 per month and are available to one person earning between $35,623 and $40,080 or two people earning between $35,623 and $45,840.

Residents of Community Board 4 — which covers Bushwick — will be given preference for 50 percent of the units.
