'Affordable' Bushwick 1-Bedrooms Cost $1,899 A Month, City Says
The city is touting new Bushwick apartments, available only to households earning between $65,000 and $124,000 a year, as affordable.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — New "affordable" Bushwick one-bedroom apartments that cost almost $1,900 a month hit the housing lotto Wednesday, city records show.
Five units at 83-85 Stanhope St. near Central Avenue are available to any New Yorker earning more than $65,109 a year, according to the NYC Housing Connect listing.
The five one-bedrooms go for $1,899 a month and are only available to a single person with an annual income between $65,109 and $97,110, a couple with an annual income between $65,109 and $111,020 or three people earning between $65,109 and $124,930 a year, city records show.

Amenities at the Stanhope Estates Apartments include a laundry room residents must pay to use.
Those who meet the city's income requirements have until May 22 to apply.
