'Affordable' Bushwick Units Cost $2,500 A Month, City Says

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — The latest "affordable" Bushwick apartments to hit the city's housing lottery cost $2,500 a month and require applicants earn at least $85,000 a year, records show.
Three two-bedroom units at 67 Stanhope St. that hit the NYC Housing Connect lottery Tuesday will be up for grabs until June 26, but are only available to households earning 130 percent of the Area Median Income.
That means a couple must bring in between $85,715 and $111,020 a year, a three-person household must earn between $85,715 and $124,930, a four-person household must earn between $85,715 and $138,710 and a five-person household must earn between $85,715 and $149,890.

Building amenities include a laundry room, rooftop and backyard, the listing shows.
The apartment complex, which stands between Central and Evergreen Avenues, is within walking distance of the Central Avenue M train station.
