Broadway Junction Slasher Went For Man's Throat, Cops Say

Police are looking for the man who repeatedly slashed a man's neck inside the Brooklyn train station Friday.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — An angry Brooklyn straphanger slashed a man's throat during an argument inside the Broadway Junction subway station Friday, police said.

The slasher attacked a 22-year-old man with something sharp inside the J and L train mezzanine on Broadway near Conway Street about 12:30 a.m., said police.

He slashed the 22-year-old twice across the neck, once on the chin and once on the arm before fleeing the station, police said.

The injured man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police released images of the suspect Sunday and described him as a man in his 20s, standing about 5 foot 8 inches, weighing about 155 pounds and wearing a white t-shirt, a black book bag and white ear pods.
