Bushwich Sandwich Pop-Up To Debut At Precious Metal

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — There will be something for everyone at a new pop-up serving up vegan, gluten-free and meat-filled sandwiches inside Precious Metal.

Bushwich Sandwich Lab partners Dan Reilly, Tom Balsewich and Dave Shade will open their new digs in a former storage room in the Bushwick bar on July 15, organizers announced on Instagram.

The sandwich makers will be serving up a wide array of tiered treats that include vegan cubanos, gluten-free carnitas and meat-laden meatball sandwiches on garlic toast, organizers said.

Co-owner Dan Reilly told Bushwick Daily that the opening day at Precious Metal, located at 143 Troutman St., will be celebrated in style.

“We're gonna make the day into a huge party,” said Reilly, with live music and standup comedy, and dancing, and burlesque, and whatever else we feel like."
