Bushwick 'Affordable' Housing Starts At $1,900 A Month

All you need to apply is a six-figure income.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN -- A new batch of Bushwick apartments to hit the affordable housing market will cost renters $1,900 a month, at least.

Three apartments in the newly constructed building at 435 Wilson Ave. became available on the NYC Housing Connect website Friday, city records show.

The units are only available to people earning 130 percent of the area median income, or between $65,143 and $146,510 per year, records shows.

A big salary will come in handy when paying the rent; two one-bedrooms are going for $1,900 and $2,200 a month while the two-bedroom goes for $2,650 a month.

Building amenities include rooftop access and a laundry room fitted with equipment residents must pay to use.
