Bushwick Bar Dance Party To Raise Money For Planned Parenthood

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — The Starliner on Myrtle Avenue in Bushwick is holding a dance party to raise money and bring awareness to Planned Parenthood this Saturday. It's $5 at the door, and all proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood, the bar said.

"The risk of Planned Parenthood being defunded can cause devastating effects and consequences. Help come together now and take a stand to protect these basic rights for many," the organizers wrote on Facebook.

There will be dancing, drinks, DJs and Planned Parenthood merchandise and other goodies. The event is presented by Nicky Sox, The Gent of the Famous in Bushwick local movement and Brittany Leitner of Elite Daily. Music will be mixed by DJ WINK and DRAS DJ. The party starts at 8 p.m. and goes all night to 3 a.m.
