'Bushwick Beats' Film Series Tells Six Brooklyn Stories Of 'Unconditional Love'

Six directors are currently shooting vignettes for 'Bushwick Beats,' a film slated to be released in 2018.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Six filmmakers are coming to Bushwick to explore graffiti, wolves and unconditional love, according to reports.

No, they won’t be dating — the movie makers are working on a project called “Bushwick Beats,” a series of cinematic vignettes that tell stories of love in the neighborhood, Variety reported Monday.

IMDB describes “Bushwick Beats” as a film with “Six stories, six directors, six unique short films, all under the backdrop of Bushwick, Brooklyn, each a different look into the theme of unconditional love.”

The directors — Sayeeda Moreno, Chloe Sarbib, Brian Shoaf, Sonejuhi Sinha, Susan Soon He Stanton, James Sweeney and Anu Valia — will be shooting their films in and around Bushwick until July 30, according to Variety.

The writer/directors — several of whom have premiered at the Cannes, Sundance and Tribeca film festivals — offered up sneak peaks to their scripts on Instagram.
