Bushwick Burglar Creeps Through Women's Window, Cops Say

Police are looking for the man who broke into two Bushwick women's apartment and stole $1,300 in jewelry and electronics.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn burglar was caught on video shimmying through a Bushwick window and into a home where he stole $1,300 worth of stuff, police said.

The sneak thief hopped onto a metal railing then hoisted himself through the window on Bushwick Avenue and Van Buren Street about 6 a.m. on July 2, said police.

Video shows the burglar wore all black but sported a bright red backpack and white sneakers.

Two women, aged 24 and 25, who live in the apartment reported he stole their electronics and jewelry before fleeing.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to contact police.
