A one-bedroom apartment in a 19th century Bushwick clock tower was rented for a "record breaking" $5,700 a month, listings show.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN – A newly renovated apartment in a Bushwick church clocktower spent just one day on the market before a renter snapped it up for $5,700 a month, listings show.
The one-bedroom apartment in The Saint Mark at 626 Bushwick Ave. was leased on Jan. 17 – the same day it hit the market – at a “record breaking” price in Bushwick, according to real estate website StreetEasy.com.
Nooklyn real estate agent Moin Siddiqui brokered the deal and told Bushwick Daily that a “well known person from a start-up company” had nabbed the apartment.

The Saint Mark is a high-end apartment complex in a renovated 19th century church that boasts an elevator, laundry rooms, bike storage, and on-site parking, according to the listing.
The apartment has central air conditioning, a dishwasher and a roof deck, according to StreetEasy.

There are 19 apartments still up for grabs in the luxury building where studios start at $2,150, one-bedrooms start at $2,375 and two-bedrooms start at $2,450.
The apartment building is a one-block walk from the Myrtle Avenue subway station on Broadway.
