Bushwick Drug Bust Nabs Dealer Who Sold Heroin Near School: Feds
Seven men stand accused of dealing heroin and crack near an elementary school and from the Bushwick Houses, prosecutors said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A crew of suspected dealers who sold heroin outside a Bushwick elementary school were busted in Brooklyn this week, federal prosecutors said.
Seven men were arraigned on narcotics trafficking charges in Brooklyn Federal Court Wednesday for dealing heroin laced with fentanyl and crack in Brooklyn from July 2018 through June 2019, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
Adrian “Spanish D” Mattei, 32, stands accused of dealing heroin within 1,000 feet of P. S. 257 on Cooke Street and Graham Avenue, said prosecutors.

Ruben Pabon, 28, and Byron "Bezo" Elder, 43, allegedly sold 28 gram of crack in and around the Bushwick Houses on Bushwick and Flushing avenues, said prosecutors.
Jessie Smith, 29, faces criminal charges for distributing and possessing more than 1,000 grams of heroin, prosecutors said.

The seven men — who also include Kendall "Duke" Johnson, 32, Tyrell "Rude Boy" Spellman, 31, and 21-year-old Saquan "SB" Warlick — could face 40 years to life imprisonment if convicted, prosecutors said.
