Bushwick Pizzeria Ops' Wine Program Earns James Beard Shout-Out
Ops is one of eight Brooklyn bars and eateries to be named a James Beard semifinalist.
BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A very good bottle of bubbly should probably be popped open at Ops, the Bushwick pizzeria named a James Beard semifinalist for its outstanding wine program.
Ops is one of eight Brooklyn bars and eateries to earn an accolade from one of the nation's most respected culinary institutions, organizers announced this week.
But Ops, named for the Roman goddess of the harvest, is the only Brooklyn restaurant to earn a shout-out for its outstanding wine menu, which you can check out on the eatery's website.

Owners Marie Tribouilloy, Mike Fadem, and Gavin Compton opened the restaurant at 346 Himrod St., a former car garage, in 2016, Eater reported at the time.
Ops earned a rave review from Bushwick Daily last year, in part because the wine list somehow managed to be extensive, affordable, but not daunting.
