Bushwick Witches Outrage Fox News With Plans To Hex Kavanaugh
Fox commentator Tucker Carlson said the coven would fund "human sacrifice" because some proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN -- A local witches' coven outraged Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson by planning a group hex of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with a portion of proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.
Hexers intend to put a curse on "Brett Kavanaugh and upon all rapists and the patriarchy which emboldens, rewards and protects them" at Catland Books on Flushing and Central avenues on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m., according to an eventbrite invitation.
Catland co-owner Dakota Bracciale explained in an interview with The Guardian the ceremony — which will involve burning candles, graveyard dirt, coffin nails and effigies — is a protest of Kavanaugh's recent confirmation to the Supreme Court after several women accused him of sexual assault.

"Witchcraft has a deeply rooted history as a tool of resistance and resilience, to survive oppression, disenfranchisement, and being an outcast of society," she said. “The whole thing is going to be really cathartic, whether you believe it or not.”
News of the Kavanaugh hex has spread since it become a talking point for Republican commentators such as Carlson, who argued the group's contribution to the reproductive healthcare service Planned Parenthood was tantamount to funding a "human sacrifice ritual," and Women Vote Trump Pac co-founder Amy Kremer, who spoke out against the event on MSNBC.

"This type of behavior is going on and it's concerning to all Americans out there," said Kremer. "It's not anything any of us should have to live with."
Tickets have sold out and hundreds of people from across the world have shared messages of support and disdain on the hexing event's Facebook page.
"You people are nuts. Get out of our country. We don't want people like you in our country," wrote one Facebook commenter. "Someday we will make you leave."
"Wishing you luck in Switzerland," wrote another. "I’m bound against doing harm but I will be casting a harvest spell (perfect for the harvest season) that abusers will reap what they have sewn."
