BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Drag is never a drag.
More than 200 drag performers will gather on the Bushwick-Queens border this weekend to celebrate everything that is wigs, contouring, lip-syncing and sashaying at Bushwig 2019.
The two-day queer music and performance festival will bring some of the biggest names in drag and the people who love what they do to a massive warehouse event space the first weekend in September.

This will be the seventh Bushwig since founders Horrorchata and Babes Trust launched the event in 2012.
"We're not just a drag queen festival but a celebration of queer creative New York," organizers wrote on the event website. "Our mission is to change the face of queer event culture."
