Check Out The Taste Of Bushwick 2017 Lineup

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Cut another notch in your belt because the fourth annual Taste of Bushwick is coming to the neighborhood this June.

The epic food festival will take over the Boar’s Head distribution plant at 24 Rock St. on Tuesday, June 13 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., organizers announced.

There will be at least 48 local food and drink vendors offering up delicious Bushwick fare and the movie house Syndicated — located at 40 Bogart St. — will host an afterparty.

You’ll get to sample Caribbean-American barbecue from Sally Roots, Chef One dumplings made fresh in Bushwick, and new beers from Kings County Brewers Collective, just to name a few of the many vendors slated to attend.

The event — which is happening rain or shine thanks to the protection an enormous tent — has been growing since its original launch four years ago. Taste of Bushwick hosted 30 vendors and 600 guests in 2015 and this year organizers will host almost 50 vendors and expect 1000 Bushwick tasters to stop by.

Ticket sales will benefit The Bushwick Starr — the neighborhood’s Obie award-winning theater — and are priced as follows:

• Hungry Bird tickets are available until June 6 and cost $45
• General admission tickets will be sold between June 7 and June 13 and cost $55
• VIP tickets — which allow for a “first taste” before the hoi polloi arrive — go for $125 a pop or $400 for four.
