Elsewhere To Host Benefit For Immigrant Legal Services
Proceeds from the live music event at the Bushwick venue will go to a group that provides free lawyers to people facing deportation.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A local nonprofit will at a Bushwick nightlife venue on Tuesday evening hold an event benefiting people facing deportation.
Doors open at 8 p.m. at Elsewhere for a live music benefit that will provide funds to Safe Passage Project — a nonprofit legal services group that provides free legal services immigrants. Proceeds from the event, hosted by Fort Green-based advocacy group Nov10, will benefit Safe Passage Project's efforts defending New York-area immigrant and refugee children who are at risk of being deported.
Local bands Drumadics, Harville, and Slow Riches will perform at Elswhere, at 599 Johnson Ave., between Gardner and Scott avenues. Tickets for the benefit, which you can buy here, cost $15 on the day of the show.
