House Of Yes Celebrates Purim With Party, Costume Contest

Costumes are MANDATORY. 3 Winners will get $100.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Bushwick's legendary venue House of Yes will celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim this year, and while not everyone dresses up on Purim, costumes are mandatory at this party. There will be a serious costume contest: $100 will go to each winner of three categories: Hilarious, Extravagant and Debaucherous.

The venue calls it "a night to party in complete disguise, designed for you to get unleashed in complete anonymity." The party will feature a beauty parlor area with makeovers, wig styling, body painting, parades, costume changes, aerial performances and many hamantashen.

The dance floor will feature music by upbeat house artist Sander Kleinenberg.
