J, M Service Delayed By Switch Problems In Brooklyn: MTA
Switch problems at the Myrtle Avenue station interrupted service on the J and M lines on Monday afternoon, the MTA said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN -- "Switch problems" at a Bushwick subway station snarled service on the J and M lines on Thursday afternoon, the MTA said.
The MTA said switch problems reported at the Myrtle Avenue station at around noon caused temporary service changes to the J and M lines in both directions.
The issue knocked out J train service between Essex Street and Broadway Junction stations and halted M train service between Essex Street and Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue stations, the MTA said. Riders were advised to use B24, B38, B46, B54 or Q54 buses as an alternate route.

J and M service resumed just before 1 p.m., but Broad Street-bound J trains and 71 Avenue-bound M trains are still running with delays because of mechanical problems reported at the Essex Street station.
