A Man Escapes Death In North Brooklyn Shooting
A man was shot at random in his rear-end near the border of Greenpoint/East Williamsburg last August, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A random shooting near the border of Greenpoint and Bushwick during the night of Aug. 8, left a 24-year-old victim with a bullet wound to his upper right buttocks, the New York City Police Department said.
The police are seeking the suspect (pictured above) whose image was captured as he exited the Cooper Houses after the incident.
The victim was sitting on a bench in front of 50 Debevoise Avenue, when the suspect started to fire his gun. The victim began to run for cover and was struck. He was transported to Elmhurst Hospital for medical attention and is recovering.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans and a multi-color baseball hat.
