Man Who Shot 28-Year-Old In Bushwick Houses Lobby Arrested: Cops
Police found and arrested Malcolm Scott after putting him on Brooklyn North's Most Wanted list for the January shooting.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Police have found and arrested a man who shot a 28-year-old in the lobby of the Bushwick Houses back in January after he was put on Brooklyn North's Most Wanted list, NYPD said Thursday.
Malcolm Scott, 25, had been wanted for shooting another man twice inside the housing complex in January. Police had released his name and a photo of him captured on surveillance cameras in April to try and catch him for the assault and announced this week that he had been arrested.
"Thousands of people saw Malcolm Scott's face on Brooklyn North's Most Wanted," Assistant Chief Jeffrey Maddrey tweeted from the NYPDBrooklynNorth account. "We received your tips and worked tirelessly. Now, Scott's run is done."

Scott had approached the 28-year-old victim inside the lobby of the housing complex, found near Flushing and Bushwick avenues, just before midnight on Saturday, Jan. 26, police said. He shot the man two times in the upper left chest and his right wrist before running from the building.
The 28-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable contain, police said.

Maddrey gave a "special shout out" to the Brooklyn North Violent Felony Squad for their work finding and arresting Scott.
