BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Three moped-loving men keep stealing mopeds and electric bikes in Bushwick, according to police.

The trio has stolen one red moped and two electric bikes at gunpoint during a spate of robberies in eastern Bushwick this month so far, police said.

The gang first struck on the corner of Halsey Street and Wilson Avenue about 10:45 p.m. on July 2 when they stole a red moped from a 40-year-old man, said police.

Their next victim was a 41-year-old delivering food on an electric bike to a Cooper Street home between Central and Wilson avenues about 10:40 p.m., police said.

A 23-year-old man made plans to cell his electric bike to one of the thieves on July 12 at about 5:30 p.m. near Schaefer Street and Central Avenue, but was robbed of his money and cellphone instead, according to police.

Another 24-year-old man thought he would be selling his electric bike to one of the men on the same corner on July 14 about 12:40 p.m., police said.

Instead, two of the men pulled out a gun, took his phone, wallet and bike and sped away, according to police.

Police released images Saturday of two suspects — described as men in their 20s — and asked anyone with more information about these incidents to contact the NYPD.
