Journey through the music of Burning Man. Sip on some fine whisky. Dine on delicious eats. All this and more in Brooklyn this weekend.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — There’s always something to do in Brooklyn. Check out what’s happening in the borough this weekend.

Northside Music & Innovation Festival
Neighborhood: Williamsburg
What: A series of daytime professional events including panels, workshops, networking events, pitch competitions and more followed by an evening of musical performances held in venues throughout Brooklyn.

When: Festival runs Wednesday through Sunday. Start and end times vary by day.

Mayan Warrior Art Car
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: The art car travels the country each year between Mexico City and Black Rock City, where the annual weeklong Burning Man festival is held. It will stop in New York City this weekend for a special musical performance. Psychedelic artist Alex Grey, among others, will be on hand for face painting.
Where: Brooklyn Mirage, 140 Stewart Ave. at Meserole Street
When: The journey begins Friday at 6 p.m.

The WhiskyX Brooklyn With Wild Child Live in Concert
Neighborhood: Dumbo
What: Try out more than 60 different types of whisky and chat with brand ambassadors, distillery representatives and well-known New York City bartenders while listening to sounds from the indie pop band Wild Child.
Where: Duggal Greenhouse, 63 Flushing Ave., Building 268
When: Start drinkin’ ‘em down at 6 p.m. Friday

Discotechnique: Rainbow Disco
Neighborhood: Bushwick
What: A celebration of Brooklyn PRIDE and sexual freedom in the gay community. Disco or rainbow outfits are required for entry.
Where: House of YES, 2 Wyckoff Ave. at Jefferson Street
When: Unleash your inner rainbow on Friday at 10 p.m.

Brooklyn Stompbox Exhibit
Neighborhood: Bushwick
What: The eighth edition of this free-to-attend, interactive display of guitar effects pedals, held for the first time ever in this Brooklyn-based art gallery. New to this year’s event is a vintage guitar exchange.
Where: Absurd Conclave, 360 Jefferson St. between Irving and Wyckoff avenues
When: Saturday from 12 to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pop-Up Dinner at Secret Location
Neighborhood: ???
What: A self-catered flash picnic in a mystery location. All attendees must bring food items as a contribute to this group meal. This is the rain date for the original secret pop-dinner, first scheduled for June 2. One unknown music artist will host a special performance during the event.
Where: Ticket holders will receive the event location the day of the dinner.
When: The mystery unfolds Saturday at 5 p.m.

Domino Park Grand Opening
Neighborhood: South Williamsburg
What: Check out the official grand opening of this six-acre, privately-funded park, part of the redevelopment of the property that was formerly home to the Domino Sugar Factory. A free Sky Ting, waterfront yoga class kicks off the event. Munch on food from Tacocina, Shake Shack founder Danny Meyer’s newest creation, or participate in acrobatic workshops and read-aloud arts and crafts activities. Also on schedule is a live acoustic music performance from National Sawdust.

When: Sunday at 12 p.m.

Industry City Chef's Lab Featuring Gramercy Tavern
Neighborhood: Greenwood
What: Curated by Edible Brooklyn, this four-course meal is an exposition of cuisine from some of New York City’s most talents local chefs.
Where: Industry City, 274 36th St. near the Gowanus Bay
When: Event begins at 11 a.m. Sunday

Dim Mak Neighborhood With Steve Aoki, Dada Life And Friends
Neighborhood: East Williamsburg
What: A re-launch of Steve Aoki’s 2006 and 2007 Los Angeles-based music festivals, Dim Mak Neighborhood will be revived this weekend for its inaugural New York City event.
Where: Brooklyn Mirage
When: This free party jumps off on Sunday at 3 p.m.
