New Bushwick Taco Bell Is Now Serving Boozy Slushies

The new Taco Bell Cantina is also serving beer, wine and, of course, margaritas.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — You don’t have to get drunk before you head to Taco Bell anymore thanks to a new Bushwick outpost that’s serving booze.

The fast-food Mexican food joint has launched a chain of Cantinas — one of which is at 1359 Broadway near Gates Avenue — that are serving up margaritas, beer, wine and boozy slushies, Bushwick Daily first reported.

It's one of 50 new Taco Bell Cantinas that will open across the five boroughs by 2022, a company spokeswoman told Patch.

Taco Bell Cantinas will also offer tapas-style appetizers along with its traditional menu items, which customers can order from digital menu board.

Taco Bell also plans to open a cocktail cantina in Bed-Stuy at 491 Nostrand Ave., the former site of a now-closed Checkers, Patch reported in September.
