NJ Man Charged For Brutal Bushwick Murder Caught On Camera: Cops
Steven Alexander, of Newark, was arrested Thursday for the murder of Bushwick teen Devontee Cameron in January, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN -- Police arrested a New Jersey man Thursday for a brutal Bushwick murder caught on surveillance cameras.
Steven Alexander, 20, stands accused of killing 19-year-old Devontee Cameron on the corner of Bushwick Avenue and Weirfield Street on Jan. 26 just before 9 p.m., police said.
Alexander, of Newark, will face charges of murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon about two weeks after police arrested Dazon McMillan, 21, of Bushwick for the two-man robbery gone wrong, according to the NYPD.

Video surveillance from that night shows one man standing as lookout as another wrestles with Cameron moments before the Bushwick teen topples to the ground.

Police said the teen was murdered just one block away from his home near Weirfield Street and Evergreen Avenue.
Alexander is slated to be arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Friday, city records show.
