Person Hit By J Train During Morning Rush Hour, MTA Says
Somebody was hit by a J train near the Cleveland Street station about 9:45 a.m., transit officials said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A person was struck by a J train in Brooklyn Wednesday morning, causing service to stall during rush hour, the MTA announced.
The straphanger was hit at the Cleveland Street station near Fulton Street in Cypress Hills at about 9:30 a.m., according to the MTA and FDNY.
Emergency responders rushed an unconscious person to Brookdale Hospital in unknown condition, said an FDNY spokesman.

Transit officials suspended service between the Cypress Hills and Broadway Junction stations in both directions, according to an MTA tweet.
The MTA warned straphangers to expect delays and recommended stranded commuters take the Q56 bus.
