Pics: Bushwick Is Getting Another Weird Building

Check out photos of a new Troutman Street building the architect calls "organized chaos."

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — The neighborhood that boasts Bansky-themed apartments and a blue-checkerboard complex is getting another notch in its weird building belt.

A new building with a geometrically-patterned facade — that its inhabitants can walk inside of — is coming to 127-129 Troutman St. in 2018, designers announced.

Architect Adele Schachner posted photos of the building she calls “organized chaos” which features recessed balconies behind colorful metal panels.

“Thrilled that this building is finally approved and ready for construction!” Schachner, who designed the building for the BEAM Group, wrote on Instagram.

She added that the project was inspired by a dresser drawer.

There will be 16 apartments in the 11,000-square-foot building developed by Moshe Friedman, YIMBY reported.

The new building will be built on the small lot between Evergreen and Central Avenues.
