Teens Robbed at Gunpoint in Bushwick L Train Station: NYPD
Two teens were forced to hand over their money at gunpoint in the Halsey Street subway station Monday night, police say.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Two teen boys were robbed at gunpoint inside the Halsey Street L Train station Monday evening by two unknown male suspects (pictured above and in the video below), according to the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
Just as the 16- and 17-year-old victims entered the turnstiles at the station around 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, one of the suspects approached his targets and "displayed a handgun and demanded their money," police said.
The 17 year-old removed cash from his pocket and placed it on the ground, police said — at which point the guy with the gun grabbed the money and headed to the exit staircase, where the second suspect was standing watch. The two suspects then fled the station to the street above, police said.
