Absolute Coffee, 327 Atlantic Ave., Boerum Hill

One reviewer says: "Very cool interior. Cozy vibes here on a rainy day, too bad I couldn't stay. I decided to get an 8oz mocha. It was out of this world good, I left wishing I had gotten a bigger size. It didn't even make it to the train station, on point. The two gentlemen who served me were pleasant. Would come here again." - Triston K.

D’Amico Coffee, 309 Court St., Cobble Hill

One reviewer says: "I have been coming here for about 2 years. Always smells great. Was lucky enough to be here once while they were roasting and that was cool to watch. Generally we stick to the hot and iced coffee. Coffee here doesn't have a burnt taste to it. We also eat breakfast here sometimes. The egg sandwiches are good but I love their buttered rolls. So soft! Edit: Forgot to mention the staff... really nice and helpful, no complaints there." - Tammy V.

Henry’s Local, 570 Henry St., Carroll Gardens

"Wow! What an amazing find. I'm so happy I have another neighborhood cafe to hit up. Latte was good. Iced pineapple tea was great (not sweet, just how I like it). I got a baguette salami sandwich, which was fine. They have very few sandwiches for sale everyday. They don't really have much to eat -- I don't mind that. Wifi and lots of plugs and a good amount of seats. I'll definitely return here! Also, perfect temperature!!! Most cafes in the summer are either so hot or feel like a fridge so this was great." - Lynn M.
