BoCoCa Rep. Nydia Velázquez Holding Feb. 1 Telephone Town Hall
Velázquez's telephone town hall will touch on a variety of topics, according to a spokesperson.

BOCOCA, BROOKLYN — Sunset Park Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez will host a telephone town hall on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The town hall will last from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Constituents interested in participating can sign up online. A spokesman for Velázquez said those who sign up will receive a phone call at the phone number they provide on the sign-up page when the town hall begins.
According to spokesman Alex Haurek, Velázquez, "will provide some opening remarks on a number of issues and then take questions."
Velázquez's district includes part of Boerum Hill, as well as all of Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens, among many other Brooklyn neighborhoods.

Over the weekend, the Congresswoman was at John F. Kennedy International Airport in an effort to secure the release of individuals detained there following President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration. She has also said the order is illegal and must be overturned.
