Brooklyn Buschenschank in Carroll Gardens May Be Closing This Fall
A specialty pizza restaurant with live jazz may be taking over for Brooklyn Buschenschank this fall.

CARROLL GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Brooklyn Buschenschank, the restaurant and tavern located at 320 Court St., may be yielding its property to a new business in the coming months.
On Monday, the licensing committee of Community Board 6 approved a liquor license application from businessman Ofer Cohen, who said he was interested in opening a new establishment in the property.
Cohen said he hasn't decided whether to move forward with his idea — which he described as a specialty pizza restaurant featuring live jazz — but said that if he did, he would hopefully open by the end of the year.

A manager with Buschenschank couldn't immediately be reached for comment on Monday.
The community board did apply a condition to its license approval: citing past problems with noise, any future business would have to close its windows by 10 p.m. during weekdays and by 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
