One Curemaster's Cured Pork Comes to Brooklyn

S. Wallace Edwards and Sons will bring two meat-themed feasts to Brooklyn this weekend.

S. Wallace Edwards and Sons’ third-generation curemaster will host two events tonight and Sunday in Brooklyn featuring the meat company’s award-winning products.

Roberta’s (261 Moore St.) in Bushwick will feature the first Pigs and Pies party on June 28 from 7 to 9 p.m., with all-you-can-eat pork products, pizza, beer and wine for $55.

Seersucker (329 Smith St.) in Carroll Gardens will offer a $25 three-course brunch special from Seersucker’s Chef Rob Newton on June 30 – including Shaved Edward’s County Ham, market vegetables and a red-eye gravy shot; slow-scrambled eggs with Country Ham Fritters and Brooklyn Farms Greens; and Grilled Surryano sausage with rice grits, fresh peas and kimchi-collard broth.

Tickets for the Pigs and Pies party can be purchased on Eventbrite, but hurry – they’re going fast.
