Dr. Martens Opening Boerum Hill Location Next Month
The iconic British footwear brand, a staple of punk rock fashion, plan to open their second shop in Brooklyn on Smith Street next month.
BOERUM HILL, NY — Dr. Martens, the iconic footwear brand that's a staple in punk fashion, plans to open up another Brooklyn shop next month in Boerum Hill.
The British shoe company, best know for their black boots with yellow stitching, will take over the storefront at 103 Smith St. in June for their second Brooklyn location, Pardon Me For Asking reported.
Dr. Martens — which started in the 1950s — began a push in opening up shops around the city with their SoHo location in 2010, the New York Daily News reported. The company later opened spots in Union Square, Herald Square and Queens.

They opened their first Brooklyn location in 2016 with a storefront in Williamsburg, the Commercial Observer reported.
