Eat Like A Medieval Mouse At Carroll Gardens Dinner Based On 'Redwall' Books

It's the latest in the series of literary-themed dinners by the Table Of Contents Supper Club.

CARROLL GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Who doesn't want to eat like mice from the days of yore?

The Court Tree Collective at 371 Court Street will be transformed into a medieval tavern May 21 for the Redwall Dinner, a feast inspired by Brian Jacques' children's saga "Redwall" which follows the adventures of mice in the middle ages. The event was first reported by the Brooklyn Paper.

Table of Contents Supper Club, a culinary organization that hosts literary-themed dinners, chose the "Redwall" theme because of its food-centric stories. The 22 book series tells of mice, moles and squirrels who live in Redwall Abbey and who feast and brew beer in between battling evil snakes and weasels.
