An evening with: Della Mae at The Rock ShopThough they don't shy away from showing off their considerable technical talent, Della Mae is at heart a song-driven band with vocals that can tell an entire story in the merest syllable, and instruments that play with finesse and vivacity to match. Their 2011 release, I Built This Heart, was an impressive debut, a delicate balance between bluegrass grit and singer-songwriter sensitivity. 

2. New Mom Support Group. Join Flora Margolis, a licensed clinical social worker, for a six-session support group with guided topics to help provide specific coping skills, support from other moms, resources for the neighborhood, and a new understanding of the bond between mother and child. 3. Super Soccer Stars - Summer Outdoor Flexible Drop-In Classes
Little kids who want to bend it like Beckham can start learning this summer. Super Soccer Stars offers drop-in classes for children ages 2 to 8 daily from June through Labor Day. With a Class Pass, families can decide when the soccer fun fits in to everyone's schedule. Choose from the Brooklyn Heights location at Cadman Plaza Park West and Clark Street or Park Slope location at Prospect Park at 13th St. (near walking path). Service Academy Night. For high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors considering applying to a service academy, their parents, and school officials, the offices of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and U.S. Representative Yvette D.
