Four-Story Building Planned For Empty Carroll Gardens Lot

A developer filed plans to build a six-unit apartment building on an empty West Ninth Street lot, New York YIMBY first reported.

CARROLL GARDENS, NY — A developer wants to turn an empty West Ninth Street lot into a four-story apartment building, city records show.

Tauber Properties filed plans with the city earlier this month to build the six-unit residential building on the lot at 149 W. Ninth St., New York YIMBY first reported.

Plans call for the 46-foot-tall steel building to take over 4,375-square-feet of the lot with Feingold & Gregory Architects responsible for the design, city records show.

The lot, which is near the Smith and Ninth streets subway station, was listed for sale by Cushman & Wakefield and sold to Tauber Properties last year, records show.
